Week 6 Reflection- Darryl
Our group has came up with most of the questions for the survey, and are deciding to print out about 25 copies, for people to do. For the group file, Shawn is supposed to print out all the lessons, while each of us will print out our own reflections.
Ideas
We will let our relatives and classmates do the survey to cut down on the time needed to collect the information for the survey.
Learning Issues
I have learnt that in Junior College, we have to do similar projects compared to the IPW, and that they play an important role in our Junior College.
Action Plan
Our group members will do the research on our own and combine our work soon.

WEEK 6 REFLECTION OF SHAWN CHOO
We are deciding on the questions for the survey and are printing out 20-30 copies of the survey. I will be getting a file for our group and I have printed all the worksheets . However , for the reflections , we will all print our own .
Idea
Learning Issues
I have learnt that we have to print the worksheets from the grace blog every week and place it in the group file . I also have to print my own reflection
Action
We have to make sure every week we print our reflection .
WEEK 2 REFLECTION BY SHAWN CHOO
Our group have discussed and agreed that doing we will be talking about Singapore's history . Since we are learning Singapore's history in our History lessons, so we have decided to choose a different country in Asia, namely Japan.
Idea
For ideas, we think that we will be doing the culture of Japan, and Japan's history, and many others, all related to Japan. We may include finding Singapore and Japan 's differences in culture.
Learning Issues
Our group has learnt in the last week that not only teamwork is essential for us to succeed as your marks will increase when we show teamwork .
Action Plan
We have decided that on Tuesdays, our group will come together after school, to set some time aside to do our project or research .
WEEK 5 REFLECTION BY SHAWN CHOO
Our group has discussed and have worked out all our roles, and what we are supposed to do. Darrence and I will do the video taking, while Shawn will post the Project Planner A and B which we did last week together. Kelvin would do more research on the topic given to him last week. As for the kimono, Shawn and I would try to rent it, but if we cannot find a kimono, we would probably just take a picture of it.

I will find out about why does Japanese wear kimonos while Darrence might cook some of the japanese sticky rice to present to the judges, and maybe even let them try some. Kevin would also do a video about how the Japanese celebrate new year. Darryl will make a video about the differences between modern japanese marriage and traditional japanese marriage .
Learning Issues
I have learnt that the project planner is a good way tell us what to do, and also reminds us of our duties and responsibilities.
Action Plan
For what I am researching about,Japanese and kimonos , I have researched more about kimonos and will hand all I have researched to our group leader when we get together.
Week 6 reflection-Darrence Ng
We are deciding on the questions fro the survey and are printing out 20-30 copies of the survey. We are going to let Shawn Choo to get a file for us and do some or maybe all of the printing of the worksheets while the rest of the team will print out and post their own reflections on the blogs
Idea
We will let our family members do the survey and get their idea or opinion about the survey and the questions.
Learning Issues
I have learnt that Shawn is helpful. I have also learnt that that in JC I will have to do similar projects like IPW and do a presentation in front a whole lot of people and that the IPW is used to prepare us for such project
Action
The "must" will be done the printing will be accomplished and the reflections done so all that is left is to do the movie and research

Week 5 Reflection - Chong Jie
We have discussed and decided on what are our jobs. Darrence and Darryl will do the video taking, Shawn will post the Project Planner A and B which we did last week together. And I would do more research on the topic given to me last week.
Idea
Darryl might make a video about the differences between modern japanese marriage and traditional japanese marriage, while Darrence might cook some of the japanese sticky rice to present to the judges, and maybe even let them try some. I would also do a video about how the Japanese celebrate new year.
Learning Issue
We have learned that planning out our project is more efficient and wastes less time.
Action Plan
The video I am making will be about the differences of Japanese and Singapore's celebration of the New Year. I have researched about Japanese New Year and present my research to my group members the next time we meet up.
